Flooded Crawl Space

We were called in for a flood in a commercial modular building. The employees of the company did not realize that the crawl space had been affected until we performed our initial inspection.  Water needed to be extracted and wet insulation had to be removed from the ceiling. As this area below the building was a confined space several steps had to be taken to ensure a safe work area. We had to have a person monitoring the air quality in the confined space the entire time a worker was performing any tasks in the space. After all necessary materials were removed the area was dried properly.
