Basement Furnace Fire in South Bound Brook

This poor family had a fire that was caused by their furnace one week before Christmas. No one was injured but their children's Christmas presents were affected. There was no saving anything in the basement including the furnace which had to be totally removed and eventually replaced with a new system. Even though the fire was confined to the basement smoke filled the entire house which required the rest of the house and all contents to be cleaned. The homeowners were thankful that we took care of the entire house not just the area involved in the fire as cleaning soot from an entire house along with it's content is a daunting task.
